Former award winning Reuters photojournalist Nancy McGirr has devoted the last 18 years of her life to a very special project that has changed the lives of hundreds of children who seemed to have no hope. FotoKids, formerly known as "Out of the Dump" came about when Nancy McGirr, on a whim, gave five children who lived in a dump in Guatemala cameras and taught them how to use them. Through this simple act, Nancy saw her calling. Come see the children's works, hear their stories, and meet Nancy McGirr.

For eighteen years Fotokids has been changing children's lives, one by one. Fotokids uses photography, graphic arts and scholarships to give children who live desperate poverty the precious gift of self-expression and creativity.
