On June 1, 2011, six gurus illuminated arts and culture topics in San Diego and shared what's making them stick in a visual, rapid-fire presentation style called pecha-kucha. Each presenter had 20 slides, displayed for 20 seconds each, to share their topic. The standing-room-only event was at the Kettner Daylight Studio in Little Italy, presented in partnership with Media Arts Center San Diego and Sezio.
Presenter Ben Strauss-Malcolm is gallery director at Quint ContemporaryArt, and was the first person in our What's on Your Wall? series. He spoke about murals by internationally renowned artists springing up in La Jolla, which we wrote about and showed you on Behind the Scene TV late last year.
